SCUM Update: Bicycles, Fatigue, Bedrolls, and Dial Locks

Introduction

Hello everyone, happy Wednesday! In this update, we have some exciting new features and improvements to share with you.

Bicycles

The city bike and mountain bike have returned to SCUM. Adjusted to the modular vehicles model, the bicycles work similarly to motorbikes with an obvious difference. The bicycle engine is you. So get ready, stretch those hamstrings, and pedal away.

Fatigue

Accumulated fatigue has started to creep in to all prisoners. Accumulated fatigue represents gradual wearing off the character while exposed to strenuous actions. The rate depends on CON attribute.

To start, we have Maximum Stamina Value (MSI) which is influenced by accumulated fatigue. We call this Maximum Stamina Reduction (MSR). The accumulated fatigue can never reduce the stamina below RS, or Stamina Reserve.

There are a couple of methods to rest the fatigue, including eating food, consuming energy drinks, drinking hot beverages like coffee, and sleeping. You can now carry your bed with you to rest anywhere you want.

Dial Locks

The dial lock is a new item that works on a combination of 3 dials. To set it somewhere, first, you need to take it in your hands and select the set combination action. Then you just place it on whatever you wish and have a new layer of protection.

Other Improvements

There are also some other improvements and bug fixes, including adjustments to item descriptions, reduced time needed to destroy plants, and adjustments to some item spawn rates.
