Galactic Paragons: Stellaris Expansion Focusing on Leaders and Their Impact on Your Empire
Stellaris, the popular space strategy game, is celebrating its seventh anniversary on May 9th with the release of a new expansion called Galactic Paragons. The expansion, developed by PDS Arctic in Umeå, focuses on the impact of leaders on your empire.
The new level up system allows players to shape their leaders in a whole new way by picking traits, selecting between Veteran Classes, and finding them positions where they may excel. Leaders are also tied to the galaxy in a new way with a home planet, a previous profession, and their own ethics. Players can follow their journeys and witness their unique destinies unfold.
A new ruling council is introduced, where characters in the highest positions of your empire may take their place. Powerful traits have immense influence over all that lies within your empire's borders. And from here, you can unleash political agendas.
Players may discover powerful paragons out there in the void who may seek to join their empire depending on their ethics. As players explore the galaxy, they may also encounter truly legendary beings that may change the core of their empire.
The expansion also includes a new origin, several new civics, tradition trees, agendas, council positions, and much more.
More details will be revealed in the near future, with a twice-a-week dev diary schedule until the anniversary and Galactic Paragon’s release. The next dev diary will explore the Council, Leaders, and Agendas.
