Es gibt eine neue News zu dem Steam Game War Thunder vom 23.03.2023. Folgendes hat dabei der Entwickler von War Thunder veröffentlicht:
War Thunder Update: Improved Radar Mechanics, IRST Range, and Missile Flight Parameters
War Thunder has recently received an update that brings significant improvements to the game's radar mechanics, infrared search and track (IRST) range, and missile flight parameters. Here are some of the notable changes:
SAM Vehicles and IRST Range
The update introduces important fixes and adjustments for the surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems in War Thunder. The most significant improvement is the increased tracking range in automatic mode (IRST). The top-tier SAMs now have an IRST range of up to 15 km, while the IRST range of the pre-top anti-aircraft systems has increased to 10 km.
Radar Warning Systems are Back and Boosted!
The update fixes an issue that was disabling the laser detectors in the radar-warning systems (RWS) of armored vehicles and aircraft. Additionally, RWS is now much more sensitive to radars and active seekers of missiles, with detection distances being two or three times longer.
Induced Drag: Swing the Missile!
The update also addresses the insignificant influence of induced drag on the flight performance of missiles. Induced drag is the force that appears on the wing top and bottom sides due to the pressure difference. An increase in induced drag causes the missile to lose more energy in sharp maneuvers and when flying at low speeds. By maneuvering intensively, the pilot can swing the missile locked onto their aircraft and avoid being hit. Such maneuvering works especially effectively over long distances.
Overall, the update brings significant improvements to War Thunder's gameplay mechanics, making it a more enjoyable and challenging experience for players.
